SUSTAINABLE RUNNING TOOLKIT
Your Complimentary Companion to the Book:
From Sidelines to Start Lines
Introduction to Your Sustainable Running Toolkit:
START HERE!
Let's get you started on your road to consistency with your running! I'm glad you're here, and we can work on this together.
You'll notice that there are 5 modules, each with a video and a few handouts that go along with it. The individual links are below each video. If you prefer to print off all the worksheets and activities at once, you can do that here:
Once you have your toolkit materials, you can get started with the Welcome Video below. You'll be setting some goals specific to your running so make sure you have the handouts printed prior to starting.
MODULE 1:
THE OUTER GAME OF RUNNING
This module will introduce you to the Outer Game of Running. These are the tangible things that you'll need for your running practice. They include things like sneakers, a training plan, your running form and more. Take a listen to see if you have all of the essentials you need for your running practice.
MODULE 2:
THE INNER GAME OF RUNNING
This module introduces you to the Inner Game of Running. While many runners invest a lot of time and money into their Outer Game, what may be tripping them up and keeping them from being consistent is actually their Inner Game. This is the mindset that you're bringing to your runs. Are you letting your Inner Critic or your Inner Cheerleader have the microphone? This can make all of the difference in the world!
MODULE 3:
THE FOUR PILLARS OF A SUSTAINABLE RUNNING PRACTICE
Motivation can be challenging when you're just getting back into running. It can be frustrating when it feels hard or you're battling with your Inner Critic. This video covers the 4 Pillars to creating a sustainable running practice. It gives you 4 ways to keep each and every run rewarding on a heart-based level, which can totally over-ride your Inner Critic.
MODULE 4:
COMMITMENT
Here's where it all comes together. When you make that commitment to yourself and show up for yourself day in and day out. Making an intentional commitment to your running can be scary. Follow the recommendations so that if you find your commitment starting to waver, you can recommit instantly and get right back on track.
MODULE 5:
REWRITING YOUR TRUTHS &
MANAGING YOUR MIND.
This is a workshop I've done many times and goes through the process of rewriting your truths. What we believe is what we create in our future. Taking the time to understand thought management is key to succeeding with your running goals. Or any goals for that matter! Once you learn how to rewrite your truths and intentionally create your thought patterns, you'll be amazed at how your life can change.
